Why is Govardhan Puja celebrated on the very subsequent day of Diwali

After this all the villagers which includes their cows took refuge under the mountain. This made Indra Dev more irritated and multiplied the pace of rain. In order to spoil Indra’s pride, Shri Krishna requested Sudarshan Chakra to remain on pinnacle of the mountain and manage the speed of rain and asked Sheshnag to make a raid and forestall water from coming towards the mountain. Indra Dev persevered to rain closely overnight. Krishna saved the mountain on his hand consistently for seven days. After so a good deal time, he realized that Krishna is now not an normal human being.
